Physicians who are certified by the COUNCIL for MEDICAL EDUCATION and TESTING (CMET) join APWH as Fellows-Certified in wound care (FAPWHc). The CMET exam is offered multiple times throughout the year and in multiple locations throughout the United States and this year will be offered overseas.

As with the APWH, CMET is the only other physician-specific organization in wound care and serves as a certifying agency.
